XZBMW  VO/FA coding ENTRYNAV to vehicle.
I've retrofitted an ENTRYNAV unit with 606 NAV to my vehicle, already usable via an emulator.

I'm after coding the head unit to the vehicle so it will enable previous features from my old headunit, such as on screen rear distance parking control, sports displays etc. Would I be better FDL coding or VO coding?

Is it as simple as comparing the old vehicle FA and just filling the gaps in the new one using Esys? Or am I misunderstood?

Any help would be massively appreciated,

Thanks!

RE: VO/FA coding ENTRYNAV to vehicle.
You only need to add 606 and remove old radio code from VO. Then write it and VO code the required modules.

MGU virgin and patching in Europa.
Secure coding 2.0
Feature installer codes

As simple as that? So I add 606 to the FA then code ENTRYNAV in the SVT window? What would the old radio code be?

Or do you mean I'd VO code every individual feature that's missing, then code all modules?

RE: VO/FA coding ENTRYNAV to vehicle.
VO Coding is coding by Vehicle Order.
Click CODE in your svt on ENTRYNAV with changed FA and you should be fine.

Thanks

Make sure the VO date is witin the period that Entrynav was fitted to your car from factory, usually 0716 should be ok for F2X, F3X etc.

Yeah it's currently got an ENTRYNAV unit without 606, so I'm just fitting in the new ENTRYNAV, adding 606 and 654 for DAB then coding to VO.

Oh actually - I've just noticed that when I reverse it's showing the wrong vehicle? Showing an older style F20 as opposed to my LCI F20?

I've got most of the features back from the old ENTRYNAV like sports dials and the PDC, but PDC and the owners manual are showing the old style F20?
