XZBMW  E90 2006 yellow gear light in cluster
E90 2006 yellow gear light in cluster 
checked with ista and no fault codes try  to reset gear and oil change and light cant go away 
any idea please

Check the " check control messages" with ISTA witch is under "vehile mamagment" to "service" to "vehicle information" to "check control messages"

Maybee here in the history of check control messages you will find a lead.

Check voltage regulator, in some cases when voltage is too high it may light this icon.

If voltage regulator is good, try to flash and encode the gearbox and cluster also...

hello there,

It could be the transmission control module not working properly or the solenoids, you have to try to diagnose it with SSS if the other ones don't work. Have you tried reading the error with INPA?

There is no functional difference between SSS, ISTA, DIS or INPA, they all use the same exact Tool32 commands, so that won't lead anywhere.
