bmw e60 change defective sim/sgm airbag ecu
Hello,

i  want to change a bad sim/sgm airbag ecu in an e60.
I know that i must flash it with winkfp and right vin, then code it with ncsexpert and then set new system time with tool32.

I have some question with the procedure.
What ecu name i have to choose in winkfp to flash it ?

Both ecu's are in the same housing as far as I remember,
You have to flash both with the correct VIN with winkfp
Code both to default with NCS.
Finally start up system time with tool32 or ISTA

You need to flash both in winkfp. But when coding it’s only SGM
