SIMOS18.1-IMMO OFF Help
Hi everyone, just tried to do immo of Simos18.1 2016 GTI 2.0L used RocketDump softw. (kmtech) but didn't work- engine starts for couple seconds and die. Any help will be appreciated, thank you.

Why did you need immo off ?

What are old and new ecu hardware and software numbers ?

The car was bought from an auction with no ECU, the donor I am trying to immo off is from the same year/model car.

Rocket is not a sw that makes mistakes, however there is a warning that some tools dont read the mcuid correctly, that may cause the problem.

Yeah I know, but for this ECU there is 2 options: to input the CPU ID manually and the SW. das it for automatically for you, both options generating exactly same files.
