Solved // K+DCAN in ISTA
Hi, i have INPA on C drive working good, now i instal ISTA 4.22.22 on D drive ( free space ) but it does not communicate with the car I tried a bunch of instructions but no success.

Can someone advise me?

How is your ISTA interface settings and Ediabas configured?

ISTA 4.22.22 + Standart tools 2.12 ( tested with ediabas stanalone 7.3.0 to )
In ista interface ediabas.ini, ISTA/EDIABAS/ ini set to STD:OBD
C drive ediabas
ediabas.ini ( STD:OBD)
obd.ini (com9 , latenci 1ms the same in device manager)

Keep in mind English is not my native language whew

You could test if setting Port=Com1 and HARDWARE=OBD in C:\EDIABAS\BIN\obd.ini makes a difference and also edit your USB adapter settings accordingly in Device Manager. Also check the configuration settings is Interface= STD:OBD in C:\EDIABAS\BIN\EDIABAS.ini.

Also edit the Ediabas settings in Rheingold\Ediabas\BIN\EDIABAS.INI matching for the interface as above.

change com9 to com1 in device manager

I already figured it out, it was enough to run toolset32 as admin at least once. Then ISTA already works, tested on two NTBs. I had all the settings right.

tool32 doesnt change ediabas configuration nor system configuration...

When ISTA starts after Tool32 this might work, since the version of EDIABAS that is configured for COM9 is already running.
But to make it permanent try changing it to COM1 as suggested before.
