HEX V2 Clone Adapter from china
Hey guys,
Id like to buy a VCDS HEX V2 china clone from Ali for VAG from 95 till today. Ive red that some of them are compatible with online FW and SW updates. What exactly do I need to look at. Would it be enough just buying a adapter with a STM32F429 chip or are there more differences? Ive found this one on aliex https://www.aliexpress.us/item/325680848...pt=glo2usa Would you recommend this one? Thanks a lot! |

405 is the first and good stable version, updatable
429 is the one that replaced 405, not as good but also upgradable 415 is locked to the version on the CD, not upgradable Ideally is to find a 405 one, if not, 429 is also ok but not as stable as 405. Avoid the 415 one. If i've helped don't forget the magic buttons, thanks + rep

Depends on what lоаdёя it uses.
With VII lоаdёя you have free updates, with Badrax lоаdёя you need to pay for updates. A good V2 with VII lоаdёя costs about 60-70$. The Badrax one cost about 30-40$. Inform yourself before buying, Google is your friend. If i've helped don't forget the magic buttons, thanks + rep
