Hi all this post is for resetting your vw/audi vehicles throttle body(motor) alignment after battery disconnection or throttle replacement using VCDS
Step1: make sure your cars engine temperature is above 10'C
Step2: when using VCDS any version go into engine clear the fault codes next go to Measuring Blocks and on top type 098 for cable operated vehicles and 060 for Cars that is throttle by wire (no excel cable fitted) Next you"ll see the Following ADT-Run (please do not start the car or press the excel pedal)
Step3 : click at the bottom of page Switch To Basic Settings Once in Basic Settings you"ll here the throttle making some sound leave it until completed ADT-run when done leave it about 1min in Basic setting then switch back to Measuring Blocks leave it again for another minute then save and exit
Step 4: Go back to fault codes if the codes related to throttle didn't clear the first time around you may do so now
Unplug and start VEHICLE
