I am looking for some advice on a kess v2 and ktag, i am looking to buy the interfaces for coding but need a realible version, i have just a few questions;

1. Is there a specific model i should go for i.e eu or china?
2. What pcb board with which chipset is best?
3. Are any of them upgradeable like original?

Kess or ktag for coding?
I use kess to read and write ecu's but never for coding...

1. EU Clone
2. EU board
3. Never heard

All clones are none updatable unless you get an old 3.099 fw kess and old 5.001 fw ktag then you can update them to 4.036 and 6.070 (info on here)
as for eu lolol can anyone prove these are actually made in the eu ???
and what exactly is eu made pmsl
i think you will find the cheapest pcb manufacturers in the world are china
therefore even legit companies buy their pcb's etc from china.
from what iv seen too all sellers of these so called eu clones all stick warrenty stickers over the screws so you cant even open them to look at the pcb they are using (id say they are nothing more than a reworked china clone).
bottom line is china clones reworked are exactly the same as an eu so called made pcb

I really only want it to read and write files, how do i go about reworking a china coone, if amyone has any good suppliers can they please pm me?

as faras I know CP2010 clones are like original tool and from time to time he offers updates, like on both my tools no tokens required.

I wonder why they use for the "cinese clones" some wrong parts. with under 1 euro more they can use the right transistors.
