Change dealer phone number in TCU(?) / BMW Assist, Online
Hello altogether,
maybe someone can help me with the following problem. At least i would highly appreciate it...  I have an 2008 E90 LCI with stock TCU/MASK2. The car was used by Europcar before i bought it in 2010. I retrofitted the CIC professional and bought an BMW Assist / Online contract. Everything is working including VI+ etc. The only problem is the dealer number shown under BMW Assist: It is the phone number of the dealer where the car was originally bought. How can I change this number to my actual dealer? Is it possible using Tool32 or ISTA-D/-P? I don't even know if this phone number is located inside the TCU or in another ECU. All i know is that it can't be change by BMW ConnectedDrive Support because i already tried that... Thanks in advance and best regards |

Ok thanks for the help. I changed the dealer number both ways (ISTA+ => CBS Fahrzeugdaten ändern, Tool32 => schreiben_dealernumber), left the car and let it sleep for about one hour.
Unfortunately the dealer number shown in the display still remains unchanged. But if i start Tool32 and ISTA+, the number that i entered before is shown. Strange behaviour... I started cicr.prg with Tool32 and there is also a function to read/write phonenumbers. Unfortunately it doesn't work for me. Maybe because of my D-CAN cable? |
