Need a Stage 2/3 map for Citroen DS3 165THP
Hi,
A local tuner has been unable to map my 165THP DS3 to stage 3. The car has a Forge FMIC, Decat downpipe and a larger turbo from a 208GTI. I know it uses a Bosch MED17.4.4. Can anyone here point me in the right direction to get the car to stage 3? Thank you! |

If the local tuner can't do it see a real one, you can't just get a stage 2 or 3 map, the car needs to be logged for knock, boost pressures and boost demands, EGTs and intake temperatures and alot more logging, it will take ages to write a good map for non generic parts

RE: Need a Stage 2/3 map for Citroen DS3 165THP
Thank you for the reply.
The local tuner had the car on a dyno for 3 days. They tried working on the tune, but eventually said that they lack the "Damos" files required to decypher the ECU (MED17.4.4). They said that they tried collaborating with another tuner in the UK, but they only provided them with "Slave" files, which did not allow for any tuning. After a lot of back and forth between them and the UK company, they were still unable to raise boost levels above 0.9 bar. The engine and parts used are very similar to the popular stage 2 map done on the Peugeot 208GTI, but that car has a different ECU - MEVD17.4.4 - which I'm guessing has had more work done on it. Any suggestions on how to proceed would be very much appreciated. |

You could travel to a more established tuner, they aren't investing money if they won't buy a damos for MED17.
Make sure you find a tuner that will log and do a proper job, good luck mate |

Thank you for the advice.
I will try to find a more established tuner locally. Would it be possible for me to purchase a Damos for MED17.4.4 in order to assist them in the process? |

I wouldn't waste your money mate, a well established tuner will have them already.
Just make sure they make the map after good logging sessions, are you in the UK? |

I'm in Israel.
I wish I was in the UK! I know of several good tuners there, specializing in DS3s. |
