EDC16CP31  2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.0L OM642 Renew or Virgin flash needed.

I uploaded files from the damaged ECU.

I am replacing the original damaged ECU (have ignition keys)  with a used junk yard replacement (do not have ignition keys).

I get error message "CHECK GAUGES". After only writing the 2 files via K-Tag

Also, any help how to proceed would be appreciated.

Thanks for your reply. I was able to successfully write this file via K-Tag. However, I cannot get the car to start.

I get an error on the dash that says "CHECK GAUGES" and "PROGRAMMING ACTIVE".

But cannot proceed to start the engine. Any idea what I am missing?

Is it possible to please disable the IMMO completely?
