write .MPC file with KTAG?

i have the KTAG EU clone 225 and im wondering why i can not write back the .MPC file that ktag did save from a ecu? so nothing modified or whatever, i get error wrong file size? did try this on a, FIAT 500 IWA 5SF8.MR and a Peugeot IAW 6LP2.03 both have no EEPROM only flash only the file that have no extention can be written back to ecu question, why can i not write back the .MPC file any thoughts on this Don't PM me for SW keys, FRM, Licences, radio codes or similar, you will not get any answer...
