I would used second mux with other laptop
Here Lenovo t400 win 10 with adapter usb com. How make vm to Lenovo? This is possible ?

Know you, how connect mux? I have adapter usb com driver install
Port com 2 selected , previous port disabled but toolkit search c4 not c3.

The system from which you have made the image recognized the C3? to change the mux you need to edit several files and replace others, not to mention that usb-com adaptors don't always work here...
