Hey Guys,

Need some help, i have an e90 2006-09 build and the left ahl module part #: 7189312 532294803 (SMC II) was replaced.

Now in NCS expert I dont recall seing any SMC module.  In ISTA I only see the FRM module, no SMC etc.

Can someone advise the correct way to code this module.

The left light turns on but does not move like the right one.  The right one responds properly in ista when I send commands to move to it, when I do this to the left one I get the error:

ERROR_ECU_GENERAL_REJECT in ISTA.

Anyone know how to fix ?

first check if car has still 524 in VO. maybe its been removed.
if its there just code FRM. SMC is not listed in ista as a separate module.

in ncsexpert, i dont remember 100% if is listed. if you see LSMC in list, code it.
in E70 i know it is.

Check the connection in the headlight between the new SMC and the plug inside for corrosion in the pins. In NCS LSMC is for left headlight and RSMC for right, like elthox mentions.

thanks guys, it ended up working, it was RSMC and LSMC were both in the list in NCS, i was just blind
