Is it possible to apply the old_SQLiteDBs to the latest ista-d?
(for instance , ista:4.37.4x , SQLiteDBs:4.26.XX)

I've confirmation that there is a version which is the same as the ista version in the DB file.

This is because I want to use new_version ista .
However, As you said, I continue to use the current ista due to the language file I use is rarely distribute through the Internet.
If it is possible to modify the language file and use the new ista, I would like to do so.

You can "modify" it so that ISTA starts. Or you can disable version checking for that. But in the end some functions will fail in ISTA. Up to the point car identification will be impossible (depends on what exactly was changed in new version).

You could use newer diagdocdb, but older language. Then some random texts will be just a string id number.

Or you could ASK on this forum for that language file.

I tolerate some functions to become unusable.
If I want to disable version checking in ista, do I need to modify the config file etc.?

I'm trying to update to 4.37.43.
And I need a [JA] language file.
(The SQLiteDBs I have is 4.11.30. )
