G30 LCI 6U3 retrofit
Hello everyone,
I would also like to retrofit the Live Cockpit Pro Cluster 6U3 on my car (G30 LCI 10/2020 with 6U2 and ID7) has anyone already done this? What components do I need to replace, apart from the instrument cluster, and what activation codes do I need? Best regards |

Just read 35128WT EEPROM and correct the VIN number. If the odometer of the second hand DKOMBI is lower than your car you're fine else use EEPROM emulator and reset it.
Take care that if you connect a DKOMBI with higher odometer reading that your car the biggest value will be stored in BDC so don't do that. After you done all this you can connect the DKOMBI. Code it. Last step you'll see that the certificates from DKOMBI are invalid now because they are validated based on VIN and you have a new VIN in cluster. Request new certificates from AOS, load them and check they are accepted. If certificates are accepted IPsec communication should start and you should have map and song tracks visible in DKOMBI. |
