LOL, immo is off with doner cluster, i needed a speedo, let me try one time tomorrow to read the doner cluster with this cheap ass 5.55 if i cant read doner, i'll bin the 5,55 and get the 6.12, i'm told the 6.12 clone only works on win7 64 system, which i don't have

you can update to stable version 551 or 5.84 work good on win7 32 and win7 64

Ok.
For restoring such dash , u need to find PCB has been destroed - even A3 with red display started car( tested) - and here 2 ways:
1ST immo off( need pcb or dash from same vehicle) - just install pcb, make a key to this dash and immo off for ECU.
2ND - any pcb even from a3 read display - U HAVE TO READ WRITE IT - IF Ur tool not can do it - problem
a) read Ecu eeprom
b) find 7 byte of CS (SVDI)or put ANY numbers( this case need to make new keys), MAC from ecu eeprom and power class - if it 2.0 - more oportunetly it is 88( not make sure but can check at home)
c) read micronas and eeprom - edit it by new data and need to put chip # too ( vvdi mini or same can read it from key)
d) coding by VCDS

P.s i forgot - micronas flash and eeprom need to be changed if it be red display pcb - i got it as restored dash TT 2013( not remember exactly as long time ago) 2.0

Big opportunity that Ur ORI micronas is alive - just read eeprom and micronas out of circuit - at least to try it - when Ur equipment got ability to do it - it save a lots of time if be successful

I tried out of circuit but I broke the pins, I'm trying to reflash xprog, from 5.55 to 5.11 but I can't connect, all connections are correct but I keep getting FF FF FF when I I'd,  I think I have everything in order, when I plug tl866 into USB, the green light comes on on xprog, when I click I'd check, the light goes out and I'd is FF FF FF
