Did you find in lookup <VERSION>002_001_510</VERSION>?
You look for version in wrong place. Find catalog INFOMAP or something like that. There you will have version.

Downloaded Europe West NEXT 2022-2 but I don't think that is 2022-2 version?

in pkg.sig there is:

If really want to check this would need to open the Info_Map.imp file (for next is inside folder 1) with a hex editor (eg HXD), easier with a byte grouping of two, can see version in 08 and 0A at the top eg 00A9 0061.  Check lookup file and is SWID_FscShort

okay i checked what you said in the Info_Map.imp file and you are right, there is 00A9 0061 -> East 2022-2
But:
If I put this USB Stick in my car it says, that there is no newer map is available and if update should be startet.
I also checked my previous installed map and it was 00A9 0044 -> East 2020-1

How can you explain that?

I also had this "issue" with one car before, car says there is no newer version on the stick - this is BS.

Updated the "not newer" map and the newer map was threre. Do not know what the cars problem was
