Hello!

I have problem with A8 4H MMI3G+, only show 2G connection, MMI sw updated to K0900, same problem.Antenna ok, sim show 3g on other car. Any idea?

Guys i have a very important question,

My friend is moving from canada to europe with his car. He owns a canadian Audi S4 with MMI 3G, can he do the following options ?:

- Install a North American firmware + Europeen Maps
- Install an Europeen firmware + Europeen maps on a North American Audi ?


Question 2: Any one can point where to find north american firmwares and maps ? i used the search button here but didnt find much

No, its EU.

American maps are hard to find it...

You should install EU firmware and EU maps but first You need to change fonts in eeprom then install EU FW (ignore region etc).

I don'T think flashing eeprom is needed. This article http://www.audienthusiasts.com/Infotainm...hange.html is talking about changing regions but don't say if flashing Eeprom is required before that step.

After updating A8 to firmware K0900 a touchpad stop working. Does anyone know how to fix it?

Hey guys,

Just wanted to write here to confirm that I have updated my 3G+ system that I have retrofitted on my 2010 A4, from v662 and Maps db 6.16.3 directly to the latest v900 fw and maps db 6.22.4 without any issues.

I managed to get the firmware updated in under 40 minutes using a Sandisk UHS1 speed SDHC and the map db update took around 1.5hrs with a Sandisk UHS3 extreme SDHC card but I did run into a problem where the Mapstyles db did not load properly so had to re copy that into the SD card and did a user defined update only for the Mapstyles so it took around 2 hours in total if you consider the break.

Used the Xcode generator to generate my code using my WLAN mac address and it all activated perfectly using the script provided.

I have to say after the firmware upgrade the Green menu seems to get disabled, so I re-enabled it quickly since I have a vagcom cable.

So a BIG THANK YOU to everyone on this forum, it has helped a lot in getting this update done!!!
