There is doubt in your equipment
Unfortunately I do not know English well enough to describe the reason why Chinese adapters do not work

RE: Coding BMW motorcycle K1600gt
I can verify that the Chinese Clone ICOM A and A2 are different in chips on board.

I have had 4 different units in only 6 months now.

My A version will not do anything but program with ISTA P and D

My first A2 version from Beijing was awesome. It would allow the use of Tool32, ESYS, and Program ISTA P and D. The one thing they left out of the unit was the MOST connector. I did not need this for the car series, so I was not concerned with this. However, on about 30 days time, I noticed I was getting a red flashing light. It indicated that the fan was in error. Problem was, there was no fan for there to be an error. Then about 2 weeks later it failed to do anything when you plugged it in.

The next 2 A2 versions I have will not work with Tool32 nor ESYS. They will only program with ISTA P and D. One of those has already died from overheating with only about 40 hours of use.

I have two icoms from china and both work very well with ista P+Ista D+INPA+TOOLs32+dr.Gini+aicoder +esys .

i connect to the motorcycle with dr.gini and i may read all the ecu and check errors ,but cannot read VO order.
It must be some kind of connection missing on clone icom D.

has anyone the full electrical wiring for bmw k1600 motorcycle for the 10 pin diagnostic ?

RE: Coding BMW motorcycle K1600gt
Where did you get your A2 that work with INPA and Tool32? I want to buy another if this seller can assure me that it will work with Tool32. My old one worked great, but these ones I got from a different seller do not.

Post a picture of your 10 pin. I would guess there are only 4 connection points in the connector. I have seen several motorcycle OBD port connections and they are all the same.

wiring I used to build mine :

OBD2 BMW 10 pin

4&5-------------4 (Bat- (GND) )
7---------------1 & 2 (K Line) - ECU / ABS
16--------------6 (Bat+)
1---------------10

or I have seen this configuration also posted on forums.
OBD2 BMW 10 pin

4&5-------------4 (Bat- (GND) )
7---------------1
8---------------2
16--------------6 (Bat+)
1---------------10

RE: Coding BMW motorcycle K1600gt
To work with tool32 and all bmw standard tools you must reserve the icom with itool radar before use, with ista you do not need because the software reserve the icom automatic.
for icom adapter D there are two types one for pre canbus and other post canbus.they look alike...

RE: Coding BMW motorcycle K1600gt
Once again I repeat with the icom-d Chinese adapter you can not code such motorcycles as k48 k49 k51..........

The original Icom-D is a complex electronic device and not a wire
