Update firmware as user defined!

Firmware was update before update map.
If you men update firmware by whole MMI 3GP by HM+R_EU_AU_P1001

I updated my 2012 Audi A6 with P1001 firmware and 6.26.1 without problems from firmware K0770 and 6.20.4 maps activated with Carsons. First I enabled green menu with the script which after I did an emergency update with FW K0770. Then I updated to FW P1001, deleted old maps, installed maps 6.26.1 and activated with Keldo's. After this everything worked except Google maps (was greyed out and didn't load). Lastly I did a user defined update and installed GEMMI and map styles with P1001. Now everything works fine and Google maps load like it should!

Ok I got fed up and installed map 6.25.3 and all is working as it should....i didnt even had to activate this map ?! How can this be?

I am in the same situation none of two options possible for 3GH works, (script never run on sd1 or sd2, update with MMI3G 6.26.1 do not activated the maps.)

and I thought about reinstalling the previous version that was also the 6.25.3

Have you reinstated it by entering the engineer menu as always or have you done any previous step?


Before updating to version 6.26.1 I had

Version Soft: HNav_EU_K0257_6_D1
Version Nav: 8R0060884EM ECE 6.25.3

Because you maybe activated with a FSC when you installed 2015 map. FSC don't get removed.

I've got a 3GH Unit where the Activator did not work. I first thougth it has to do with permissions - extracted the mmelauncher from mmi firmware. Created a new activator for myself.

It also didn't work... then i've found something!

in the activator script there is text " waitfor /mnt/lvm/acios_db.ini " file, but you know what ?

After I got the screen map not activated, there was still no acios_db.ini! So the Activator is still active and waiting infinitely for this file before taking action.

i deleted then nav database partition installed 2018 completely new and then activator worked.

So what do you recommend doing to see why the activation via script that do not run on sd1 and sd2 or via update MMI3GH 6.26.1 does not work?

I have try the 6.25.3 activation too on 6.26.1 but do not work

I'm seriously thinking about going back to the previous version to make the nav work, but frankly I do not know if I have to do any previous steps, my knowledge in these procedures is very limited.

Before I had 6.25.3 - HNav_EU_k0257_D1 . Activated with 00040014.fsc .
Installed 6.26.1 with User defined (not delete HDD) updated from Engineering menu.
If you installed fsc activator (not working) try first fsc remover and after script activator posted by me.
Don't forget to erase error 03267 with VCDS and code generator SVM from audienthusiast.

I'm really stuck with the activation (same like you before I had 6.25.3 - HNav_EU_k0257_6_D1).

I need to confirm if you did erase 03267 before applying the ativacion or if you do it later... not sure if this can be the issue too.

I have try "Activator 3GH.zip" but script do not run, I have try "MMI3G 6.26.1.rar"with FSC but do not unlock maps .

Do I need try first fsc remover and then try script activator posted by you? .
