I installed NAR 6.16.2 maps on my Q5 3G+ firmware K00942_6 and all worked fine until I mistakenly used Audi_3GH_Fix_K0257 activator. Now my maps are still locked and now Media is stuck on loading screen.

I tried Keldos uninstaller but it dosnt remove anything and 3G+ activator still says remove existing activator. I need help with uninstalling Audi_3GH_Fix_K0257 activator from my 3G+ system, so I can use correct activator. Any help is appreciated!

Hi,

I wish I saw this before I updated my wife's 2013 Q7.

Firmware update to K00942_6 went well. Map update to NAR 6.16.2 went well. Used Audi_3GH_Fix_K0257 activator and worked well last night. All seemed to work.

Wife goes to start car this morning and MMI stuck on trying to pair to her phone. I had her reboot. No difference. I had her reboot with her phone off. Seemed to work this time. She checked and found out that the saved home location disappeared. She tried to enter the home location. All froze again.

Any thoughts as to what to do?

I did a user defined FW update and selected all components starting with "MU". All worked. The only "NOK", not OK was on the module that ended in "FSCS".

My wife's phone now pairs with the MMI and the media is also out of the endless wait to connect. It connects to her phone and music plays.

However, the maps work only for a short time and then I am advised that the map data is unavailable. I tried to use an fsc activator and it only said that media was unavailable or unreadable (I can't recall). The install log on the SDCard said that an activator was already installed.

It looks like I need to uninstall the Audi 3GH_Fix_K0257 activator. Does anyone know how to do that or any other thoughts?

It appears that 3GH stands for 3GHigh while I have 3GP or 3GPlus.

After you updated all MU components which activator you used, again FSC one for 3G high?
