Just use esys and an enet cable and extract your own de file then use the fsc generator in the sticky on this forum. Here's a guide, I take no credit for it.

And how they doing it from VIN last digits?

You cannot have both East and West installed at the same time, there is not enough memory for that. You better buy 2 USB Sticks and have them in the car, each with it's on version (East or West). You can swap versions while driving if needed, it takes 20min and you can still use the navigation in the mean time.

Try with Winrar. I unpacked East with that and got it.
