ZTAudi  DEF on C7 Dashboard
Hi

Got car with DEF on the A6 C7 dashboard 4G8990982K, probably someobe attempted mileage adjustment using some cheap tool but not entirely sure. Can anyone help to fix it. Dump included. Is it possible to read whole eeprom with odis E ? i can read parts with VCP...

Hi there is no IMMO in C7 only component protection.... It all works fine just shows def instead of mileage and all diodes at the bottom are lit.

Checksum error, some tools can make it by OBD, not by eeprom.

not always checksum error, sometimes there sits kilometer range eeprom. )) It can be repaired via ODIS

FVDI V12 38.1 has a DEF repair item, I haven't tried it, so I can't say if it works
