What tool can read ISN (SK) out of >06.2020 S55
Some tuners use old used DME to tune cars post 06.2020 Models.
They need ISN from DME but what tool is best.
Magic i am not sure , support is on holidays.
Autohex/Hextag did not work.

Any Ideas?

If it is F series, read it from the FEM/BDC.

S55 only F series as I remember. It can be flashed without unit exchange

Flex and Kess3 both announced the ability to bench flash the 06/2020++ DMEs now. Someone got hold of the new service mode security keys.


But to answer your question, before the news, it was not possible to read anything from the original DME. It was all out of FEM.

The best for my, is the FC200, can read and write maps, and isn direct on ECU

It can be unlocked for flashing by obd. You dont need to buy old dme and clone it
