ZVW  Odis 7.2.1 With Cloned VAS5054A
Good Morning guys. i know this has been covered before. but before i start i just want to get things straight.
I have ODIS 7.2.1 installed on my laptop (Win 10 64bit)
But the head is not talking to odis. i installed drivers and it shows in windows but wont speak to ODIS?
What i Gather is i should uninstall this and install the version from Fantomel Is this correct?

So if i do there are people saying to follow the step by step instructions but i can only see the activations/download thread. can someone point me in the directions of the step by step guide please?

No mate, you should look to see if softing is installed and if it is and you see softing there then only replace patch files for chinese clone from fantomel's universal install or any other place you see the files present.

If you think i helped you please do take 1 second and press THANKS button thumbsup

RE: Odis 7.2.1 With Cloned VAS5054A
I had trouble to make my clone 5054A working with ODIS S.

I finaly found that the USB connector of the cable didn't make a good connection to the PC.It could have been defective from its construction, I don't know. So i changed it and everything now is OK.

TIP:

In order for someone to check if the 5054A is working, it needs to be connected to the car as well, not just to the computer. Or to have given 12v voltage from a power supply to the appropriate pins. Pin 16 = 12v +,  Pin 5 = ground

When the cable has power and you connect it to the computer, you can hear the familiar USB recognition sound.
I hope I helped someone with the same problem.

RE: Odis 7.2.1 With Cloned VAS5054A
i just got my ODIS up and running. It also connects to my genuine VAS-5054a but they dont connect with my car. 2007 Audi A6 C6
Do I have to use VX Manager? Because VX Manager doesnt find my interface at all. No matter what connection type I choose.
Windows 10
Laptops internal bluetooth module is defective.
