Tried to install 2490.
I get an error (ODS 9018E)

hmm didn't get it. In ODIS --> Admin --> Update the path is C:/ProgrammData/Offboard_Diagnostic_Information_System_Service/preinstall

I changed the value "VAUDAS_PostSetup_Done=true" in this file org.eclipse.internal.prefs from "true" to "false", so while starting ODIS-S I can download the new PS from the mounted .iso 2490.

The files download then to the preinstall folder.
After downloading them, I click on the next button and the error 9018E came.

I delete the preinstall folder 3 times and tried to install the new PS but didn't work.

It also says that with this file is something wrong (not correctly downloaded:
features/odis.data.KD_Referenztabellen_43.2.0/odis.data.KD_Referenztabellen-de_DE_43.2.0.jar

no need to change "true" to "false", what's the point? Are you running the program with administrator rights?

I can assume that you are confusing the temporary directory and the update path

For those who have experience and ability please check it by working on real cars and please write if you find errors or not.
This is not an official postsetup, so you use it on your own risk.
Corrected to work with Softing 505x interfaces under Service 7.2.1 and updates are from version 11.0, Postsetup 110000.301.430.

Before you start installing Odis from 5054 on Windows 10, you need to do the following:

1) install PDF viewer

2) enable: control panel - uninstall or change a program - enable or disable Windows features -.Net Framework 3.5

3) install font Arialuni

4) installed Visual C++

5) using file bat., install version 6.2.0 with the choice of 5054, then specify the postsetup from version 7.2.1
Attention: if you have installed or are going to install engineering,
then you need to comment out the program folder during the installation
of programs or updates: Program Files (x86)\
##Offboard_Diagnostic_Information_System_Engineering
If after updating or installing a folder with the same name as the commented one appears,
then you need to delete it.
For example: if you install or update the service, then comment out the engineering,
if you install or update the engineering, then comment out the service.

6) The installation file of the program and the bat. file must be in the same folder.

For example Service, desktop location:
Run command prompt as administrator:
cd \Users\username\Desktop
run.bat OffboardDiagSetup-Service_VWMCD_6_2_0-0103_8.exe

For example Engineering, desktop location:
Run command prompt as administrator:
cd \Users\username\Desktop
run.bat OffboardDiagSetup-Engineering_12_1_1-0102_2.exe

- VW CRAFTER Nutzfahrzeuge (SY_) 2.0 TDI 2018 DAVA, all OK on car itself.
Protocol is showing Win10 for some reason. I'm running on Win11.

Can i ask something ? when we have a big update the data are a complete version and have all previous ones or do i have to install all the previous versions?
