I have a problem, when trying to reinstall Odis on my old laptop...when I run the installer, a window pops up saying that a previous installation/uninstallation was not completed....
I think I have uninstalled the previous odis correctly, with revo uninstaller and using ccleaner... I don't know what else I might be missing, has anyone ever had this happen?

Clean your PC manually - delete any leftover folders containing words "ODIS, OS, OE, VW" in:
C:\Program Files\
C:\Program Files (x86)\
C:\ProgramData\

Also delete similar registry entries in:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\

Reboot and run registry cleaner (CCleaner would be enough). Reboot again and try running setup.

Thank you very much, I will save the steps, but what I have done is run another AVS registry cleaner, and it has let me continue the installation.....regards
