RE: EDC15VM 4B2 907 401 Write problem
First generation of edc15v had intel procesor with 29f400bb flash , imposible to write via obd ( very rare ecus)..........after that came edc15v+ edc15p and so on based on infineon c167 procesor and 29f400/800 psop44 flash , reading and writing via obd without problem
BTW what does it mean " i misplaced the psop adapter"???. You desolderder flash and programmed on table with a programmer?? If your ecu is based on c167+29f400 than you have a faulty ecu |

THX I already remembered how to solve the problem when downloading and uploading, a 10kohm resistor on pins 2 and 10 of the eeprom like my post and the content i share, give me a +1 recommendation and a thanks = +

RE: EDC15VM 4B2 907 401 Write problem
The flasher thru obd injects bootloader in c167 ram in order to pull pin pol.4 low (pin24 on flash) in order to execute erase and write comands....if the hardware is faulty it doesnt pull the pin 24 low and doesnt erase flash no matter you have diagnostics or no
Try grounding the 24th pin of the flash to gnd before executing comands.....if that doesnt work probably a faulty flash then,,,,,,i usualy desolder those and do them with my beeprog. 10 min job I have even encountered faulty flash memories which cant be erased even with a programer Post a picture of your ecu hardware |
