Hey Guys,

Need some help with a module I had to replace.

I have a 2019 X3 M40i. Got the Emergency Call System Malfunction error and out of warranty. I already have replaced the Antenna, the ATM-01 (Telematics Module), and the backup battery. And obviously reseal.

I was able to code the ATM-01 Module using esys following these steps.

"Connect => Read FA (VO) => Activate FA (VO) => Read (ECU) => Left-Click on desired ECU => Click on "Detect CAF for SWE" => Select the CAFD from latest I-Level shown (bottom one) => Select OK => Right-Click on ECU (the ECU itself not the underlying CAFD) => Select CODE."

Doing this has cleared the Emergency Call System Malfunction error on my instrument cluster.

However some things still aren't working as they did prior to replacement.

- App is showing updated status of locked/unlocked and where the car currently is. However I cannot use the remote 3d view, cannot lock/unlock the car remotely.
- Cannot perform any of the emergency call functions either.

The internet does seem to be working on the car as I am able to access weather, news, update bmw assist, etc.

All of this was replaced with brand new hardware straight from the dealership. Any suggestions to get the app back to fully working and my sos button working again?

Did you buy new module or second hand?
If second hand, i think you should move eSim from old module!
(you can find picture of it on forum)
Also should remain old imei which i don't know how to move, this should be the problem!

Those are from Bimmerlink.

When I run a scan in Bimmerutility I get the following errors.

B7F4BC - AMPT No Rad_ON signal even though the engine is running.

E1C600 - Head Unit Ethernet unexpected communication termination

800AC5 - KAFAS Camaera window heating : short circuit to B+ or open circuit.

You need somebody to code it and make validation for you.

About what validaton you talking guys for ATM-01?

Validation is not required for ATM-01 - only for ATM-02 / WAVE etc.
