Astra G VP44 won't start
Hi All!
Astra G 2.0 DTL '99 VP44 PSG5 The problem is the following: By the one of the mornings the engine did not start. I have read an error message: p1631. I changed the transistor in PSG-5 into IRLR 2905. Then I have got an error: p1651 and the engine did not start after all. After a little time there was no 5 Volt on the leg of the voltage regulator and the error message p1650 and p1551 has already appeared. I have got a controller (it was not operating in another car) and put it in and the error message was p1651. I changed the voltage regulator IC ((78S05) but the error message stayed and the engine cannot start. THX for the help! |

RE: Astra G VP44 won't start
After many years.. pumps are more older than before..so it is very possible quantity valve was damaged, actually that's common problem at last time...
dammned internet learn people how to replace IRLR, no one talking about thikness of the wires... so..if you replace irlr and quantity valve is damaged, and you put too much thick wire, electronic plate will be dead for ever. Check electronic on the bench with Denis sofware,,,check gnd wire from main connector to the plate...but, very possible..you''ll see very low resistance on the K line...MCU damaged.. regards, cuby |
