Hallo People, i habe the Problem, my VAS5054A will not connect with Vas5054 and xdos. I install in the lines of manual.

Most likely you have 64x os and vas5054s only drivers provided by the vendor are 32x.
Search in here for 64x solution.

I have the VAS5054 from here. I install Win7 SP1 64X and the Driver i have from cartechnology.
if possible, maybe you can help me with that?

Hi all, I managed to install the software on a clean Win7Sp164, it does not work yet as when trying to connect to vehicle there is ASAM server configuration error coming out and the Xentry just gets stuck. I tried to figure out what is wrong but have no success so far.
Please help or point in the right direction.

  sdconnect, c5, c6, ecom, xentry tab II, or III, or passthru? if passthru, what device do you have?

2. what windows language do you install?

3. have you install all xentry addons by connecting to internet?

windows 7 ultimate 64bit is genuine HP version and  in english,  installed pass thru version wth all the patches and all the ad ons off the internet too;
I am working with a lot of genuine devices at work - Actia basic XS, Volvo Vocom II, Cummins inline7 -aka Nexiq usblink2, all of them are RP1210 and SAE passthru enabled . None of them would work with my passthru version of Xentry.
I also have an old VAS5054A but not sure if it is not faulty as never managed it to work since bought 5 years ago, but ordered another one yesterday.
I have got a filing that the problem is with Xentry not handling the interface at all as the same error comes on when launced on the table with no connected interface or vehicle, and when the interface is prezent and connected to the car- there is no battery voltage readings and the system cannot check the boundary conditions are fulfilled.
Please advice!

Hello guys,

I am a little bit confused concerning the installation of add-ons. (mentioned in the post above and in some other posts in this threat.)
My background ist the old xp-4-partition solution of xentry.
There you have to avoid getting into the internet. So you have to install add-ons manually.
In my xdos 7/2016 configuration I have been following this rule the same way.

Is there any possibility to get the add-ons for my 12/2018 version while I am in the net?
Up til now I would have never act this way.
Plz give my a hint.

Yes, just go to ProgramFiles (or PFx86) > Mercedes >Addon Centre and start .exe That will connect and download all available addons for your release. BUT (not confirmed) that may deactivate your software and activate another protections etc.
