Can you tell us how to do WIS Standalone for the new Xentry?

Hello kmfspb,

I assume you would like to install WIS-standalone = non-online WIS.
Afaik there will be no WIS/EPC after 12/2018.
You can find installation help for this last version here in this forum.

I have always preferred to install WIS/EPC separately from xentry because it is very useful to have a bigger screen to see the pictures and graphics used in this systems.

Hello all,
just tried to install this on dell d630 win7 x32bit. After it finished installing, I rebooted  and 'ConfigAssist' page comes up but there is a error...
'An error occurred executing the file C:\ProgramData\Mercedes-Benz\UserData\ConfigAssist\batch_sim.bat'
Can somebody help..Thanks

I have same issue. However the error link is c:\programfiles(x86)\Mercedes-Benz\Xentry\bin\XDConfig\set_sim.bat and don’t have fold for programdata 
The bat file is in the correct location 
When I pass it will not get startkey 
This is fully lic however no instillation support at all
Please if anyone can assist appreciated

My auto mechanics are asked to install WIS standalone, they are told that it is more convenient)

Already have a WIS 01/2019, I buy it for my mechanics. EPC will no longer be released, but WIS will be.

sorry did not work.
now after three different computers and four downloads and many install and uninstall still did not go anywhere and my only option to get fully paid service that I am awaiting a reply from.

I did purchase fully lic one however after paying I found out that no supports at all and that was money wasted then downloaded two free copies that did not like my c3 hardware from my 2013 and had to get new hardware 
any recommendations on best way to go I am not sure if I need xentry/dos only or wis/epc also as my old system of 2013 had all of them together and had no issues till my grand-kids got to the system 

all what I am looking for now urgent is to check my daughter car so she can go back to her university that crank no start with no codes, fuel pressure 50psi, and holding, authorization clear, and need to start looking into the mechanical and need good reference  any recommendations would be great. god bless and my apology if I am in the wrong link
