In bios disable secure boot and they try again.

This solved the issue. The secure boot option in laptop BIOS blocked the patch.

Another method is to find zbus.ini at "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mercedes-Benz\Xentry\bin" and change "java\bin\javaw.exe" to "java\bin\javax.exe". I didn't try this since the above worked. (ref: https://cartechnology.co.uk/showthread.php?tid=43370)

The change made to javax still no changes
I just ordered new Vas 5054 oki amp 2000 chip and should be in by the weekend I’ll wait till 
it comes and try again.
Will xentry acknowledge the driver or I need to run any setup?

I install XDOS 12-2018 on Win 10 64 bit completely . When I try to config SDConnect (C4) , I open configassist, but it show up an error like that "A fault occurred when attempting to executive file 'C:\Program files (x86)\ Mercedes-Benz\Xentry\bin\XDConfig\set_SDConnect.bat '

It may not have been possible to find the file. 

Anybody can fix it ?

Bad install, try to download again and reinstall.

I installed Xentry 03/2019, according to the instructions.
It seems all is well. But when I try to connect to the machine, I see an error:

The VIN cannot be read from the vehicle.

I enter the VIN manually, but it does not help.

Bad install or, need more fixes.

I could somewhere wrong when installing? it's pretty simple.
Maybe some of the fixes affect this? incorrect setting C4?

do the selftest diagnosis using sdconnect administration and upload the result here. need to know the condition of the sdconnect hardware & its firmware version too. take a full screenshot of your screen when trouble in diagnose with sdconnect will give better information too to troubleshoot.
