Thanks OP for the great guideline. Anybody encounter an error "OpenJDK Platform binary has stopped working.." while xentry is trying to establish connection to SD C4? I am running Win7 SP1 32 Bits with the 2019.03 Xentry installation.

xentry simulation has been running flawlessly. The crash happens when connecting to SD MUX.

Maybe is a bad windows, bad download or bad install.

Hello Guys,
I have established a very good installation of PassThru using all the hinds in this thread.
Win7 64 Bit - Intel I5 notebook- SSD

Now I have checked  Toyota xhorse, Tactrix Open Port & VAS 5054.
All of them are working and build up a communication to my old cars.

As already mentioned the k-lines doesn´t work.
Allthough specially the VAS has in its discription that it is able to work with k-lines.
So here is my question for my further experiments.

Is the miscommunication caused by the PassThru SW or is it a problem of the devices drivers?
If the SW is not supporting the k-lines -than there is no possibility to find a work around.

If the drivers are the roots for this problem there may be a small glance of hope????

Well, today I tried, briefly vas5054 on an slk 230 2002 k line and i can communicate only with the engine ecu.

I try today to connect to test on truck Actros 2011 with vas 5054a.
I use 12-24v converter, but i get error  loading control table errpr loading CNT file.
I test with 12.2018. and 03.2019. Both work on cars and trasnporter verry good.
Any solution with that?

you intend to use 17v vas5054a with 24v das lkw vehicle.

1. I use 12-24v converter

• if it is only step downs the 24v of pin 16 of obd2 to 12v, you need to know that pin 7 (k-line), pin 8 (ignition), pin 15 (L-line) from k-line ecus are 24v. it is better to use 24v capable passthru device
  

2. get error  loading control table error loading CNT file

• you have to copy the contents of DAS 'LKW' folder, and other missing DAS folders from xdos with 'same release' of your xentry passthru
  

3. I test with 12.2018. and 03.2019. Both work on cars and transporter very good

fyi, in the first post, i wrote that DAS lkw is not supported by passthru. 

for education only (not for sellers ), das bus and bharatbenz are directly can be diagnosed by only copy the folders from xdos even for all k-line ecus. INS as the gateway is k-line ecu but no problem while i don't change anything. someday i need to learn all the harness because lkw is different story.
GM as the gateway has two options. by default is k-line. 
i have to stop here. i have x my line. please have a fun to research.
