Guys, I think I'm going to give up. I just did a clean install of Windows 7 on a different laptop thinking that would be more compatible then Windows 10. When plugged into the car and firing up Xentry and then selecting the correct model and then selecting diagnosis, it dumps me straight back to the manufacturer selection. I also had the same issue with the jar file that I had with the Windows 10 installation. With that install I was at least able to get a new/different error message.

Got it figured. A bit more perseverance was needed. It helps to start back in on a different day. The issue, in the end, was that there is an error in the driver docs from this site (soft something driver). A file went into the wrong directory. I tracked it down by looking at the log file and it showed it could not access a file in a certain location - because that file was not there

Anyway, onward and upward! Thanks for the help along the way!

Please help, Few Issues encountered while installing Xentry PT 12/2017:-

1) IngitionEnabler by GenZ Way does not activate the ignition (title is SimDAS)
2) On trying to connect to the vehicle, I get error (1.2)-2.503.9902 Initialization of diagnostic multiplexer failed.

I have tried installing in fresh copies of Windows 7 (x86 and x64). Now I have just installed in Win10 x64. I have also tried activating the same with @Bluesky activator - which activates everything but not yet solved the problem.

I am using VXDiag Nano (for Toyota TIS) gadget.

What could be the issue?

Guys any idea why this is happening, or is my PT device bricked?

passthru device is indeed have multi brands. and not all are good.
its price are range from super expensive down to super cheap.
for VXDiag Nano, some members have succeed to use it.

I tried to install the XENTRY Diagnostics Open Shell 05 2019 [2019] [rutracker-5719191].rar, in windows 7 pro 32 bits and it said that this version only runs in windows 64 bits...am I doing something wrong?

you have to fix the Xentry Diagnostics OpenShell.msi file to use with winx86 32bit version.
B4RTJ and webmaster share it.
it would be best to use it with winx64 bit version. there are many negative feedback to use latest xdos with 32bit version.

I will follow your instructions, the only thing for what I wanted to stay in 32 bits was for easy way to use the HHwin feature.
I just dont like the idea of running a VMware for the sole purpose of using HHTwin as I saw it in another thread in the forum.
