A question about step 12:
"12. das blacklist 870 error fix
purpose: avoid error 870 in das. use when needed only."

Why use only when needed, is there any harm to apply it always? Is there a list of blocked serial numbers to tell when this fix is needed?

I'm asking because I happened to test an old SDconnect clone with the serial 1010xx and 07.2019 XDOS and got the exclamation mark on the LCD! I was expecting the tool being bricked (waiting for the eeprom recovery) but looks like it did not get permanently blocked. Reboot the mux and try again with DAS fix and the mux seemed to be fine. Is this normal?

hi mate,
yes, that's it use for. das blacklist is friendly, but not xentry blacklist.
why when needed only, because it is better to use original file.

Hello,

I have setuped a fresh installation 7/2019 PT.

Using the add-on Center I get normal fixes  like (1907_13069_ global) as an example and some .MSI files .

Does anyone have some experience with the Windows .MSI files you receive form the add-on Center?

passthru device is indeed have multi brands. and not all are good.
its price are range from super expensive down to super cheap.
for VXDiag Nano, some members have succeed to use it.

i don't have it, but from the difficulties to install drivers, i personally will avoid it.

Hi Pesona, After almost three month and over 10 reformatting and reinstallation, I have finally figured out what the issues were:-

1. I was using Xentry patcher by Bluesky (no offense meant to the developer). The file seems to be messing up with the passthru .dll hence no communication with DAS. I will seek more info from @Bluesky but he seems to be offline for long.
2. I was using the latest VX Manager, which they have introduced benz licence. Therefore even when trying to diagonise with Xentry, it would try to get licence status instead of using passthru. 

I am using the latest firmware 1.6.0 and working like charm. 

I noted this after I purchased a china-clone XHorse mini VCI and refused to work. I will also post a review of the difference between the two from Passthru perspective, but in overall, VXDiag is able to diagonise all available control units except Xalwa headlight (which was a retrofit and no longer available). MiniVCI cannot see ignition key, steering column and many others. 

I thought its good to share with other forum members using VXDiag dongle.

All the exe patches are for T partion not for J so you need to manually edit the bin and change the partition to J for das to work with passthru.

Dear all,
I hae tried to perform scn coding online 3 time by XENTRY PASSTHRU , VCI: VAS5054A
with:
W205: fuel pump control module: success
CLA: Transmission control unit ans W204: DME. Both these times are unsucessful.
Programing is stop after starting minutes.
After programing unsucessfully, the ECU was blocked and I have try again by xentry openshell.
My question is: Is that ok to perform coding online by xentry passthru?

At the moment people are reporting scn problems ( especially transmission and engine ecu )with sd connect, not sure why.
From i read you need special protection for your system, i don't know what that is.

try again using original key for your xentry passthru and give us feedback.
