Would anyone be willing to share the ORIGINAL versions of db2mv.gmf, com.daimler.xentry.diagservice and das lic.sli files? Pesona already provided the new long key but i still have the modified fix files in place and would like to put the original files back in place. Thank you.

I have a suspicion that if Xentry Flash accounts that are owned by individuals and are disabled due to a suspected licensing violation or for some other reason causing them to lose their Xentry Flash license they paid for and use in their workshop, the forums would be lit up immediately with people complaining.  I am still looking for the post that states "Warning! My SCN login was disabled today!" but haven't read one yet.  Again, I am not dismissing the claims that it is possible, and anyone that reviews the log files can see that ever vehicle their installation of Xentry/DAS has communicated with has a very detailed log of everything that occurred during that session-

1. VIN number of vehicle being diagnosed.
2. Results of Quick Test.
3. All codings and settings currently applied to the vehicle. (handy to resort to if you need to review original SCN codestring - it's hidden in plain sight).
4. Every menu you enter, exist, and selection you pick.
5. Exactly how long your session was with that vehicle.

All of this is logged locally on your machine and it has nothing to do if you go online of it you do not.  I would have no reason to not suspect that Daimler collects some telemetry to identify software issues and possibly misuse of their software.  Obviously the license structure is designed to prevent inappropriate use of the software and whether they feel it is in their best interest to administer and oversee blocking and disabling offending accounts, for financial reasons or other reasons is only known by them.

One thing I feel pretty certain that the majority of users overlook is this setting, which turned ON for all installations by default:



This essentially gives them permission to monitor your usage of the product.  Some may be fine with this, and some may not, but people should at least know it is there.

Also, I was able to check the xentry version and download the newest version.
But now if I click on Xentry Update Service Control Center Light the site is not available, I don't know if is a glitch or... I will try later to see.

Hello Pesona, hello Ross,

some more news from my research:
If the addon update isn´t running you have to check whether DAI-ADMIN Service is running. I prefer the setting of "Manual".
After having updated all my addons the icon "Xentry Update Servece Control Center Light" is shown on my desktop. Starting this at admin rights it build up a connection to a side where you can check up your xentry PT version, download CFF Files etc.
Here I am not so experienced but I think this must be very interesting for a lot of guys here in the forum.

My steps for the update using this update page:

The side has recognized my xPT Version and is offering a newer version for DL.
I am in a risky mood and will keep going on.
I have downloaded XPT_19.9.3.
Trying to make an update.
Up to this step your longkey is fully accepted.
Starting update
277 Moduls were deleted
228 Moduls repaired and165 new moduls. Taking around 2 hours.
After this I am using xpt 9/2019!

I can't access the xentry update service site since yesterday for open-shell. Passtthru is working fine.
On w10 there is no option to run as administrator for xentry update service icon
