would be interesting to know if there is an updated version of the EBA.
Because this one is from August.. meaning before the official launch.

I was also talking today with a Master Mechanician at my BMW Dealer and he has the issue that he was not able to run the "retrofit" section in ISTA for this retrofit. So selling parts without the ability to program the car is horrible for them. Now he opened a PUMA to get the adjusted FA to be able to program it. He will let me know if there is a HO-Wort added.

HELC gets accepted for F56 now, so I guess thats it, at least I could parse the FA in E-Sys, which wasn´t working (see my first posts), also NCD tools gives me a few values

Yes, 2016 JCW. All works ok.

No, but have full led on front. HELC dont work for me, had to do that manual.

How does this need to be retrofitted on a non-LED version?

I can’t get the taillight flag to light up.

--> for a non front LED before LCI (until 03/2018) F56 connect Cable from PIN 1 to PIN 5 on right and left side.
--> for a non front LED after LCI F56 repin PIN 6 (isolate) and connect Cable from PIN 1 to PIN 6 on right and left side.


Then for both versions activate with ESYS the LED's from BL, FRA and BFD also the right and left one. As well you have to turn off in the same lights (BL, FRA, BFD) the monitors. Then reset error memory and done.
