I am trying to read the eprom 24C64 from Golf mk6 instruments , but the results is 00000

I have CarProg with rework made , i have tried with the A6 clip directly on the board - no succes

Desoldered the chip , and tried like this. no succes.

Can you give me an adivse please ?

yes, your china carprog is shit as most of them. Also why are you trying to read eeprom only?

I had tryed even with +12V , not working . What i need to check to see if the rework is ok made ? I know that need to change something to read I2C chips like 24C64

change 4x 74hc125 to 74HC125D or M

You have to change some integrated of your carprog. You need a soldering station. And change to 74HCT125M so you can read eprom 24xxx, or if you do not want to fix your carprog buy an eprom 24xxx reader are cheap. I attached some photos so you know what you should change. And if you see some component but change it. I had the same problem and fix it and already read eprom 24xxx

I opened today the unit. I saw that i have the 74HT125D on the board. I have sent the unit to somebody who will update again even the firmware even the componentes. and solve even the problem with the Signal TO low of the transponder antena.
