Hello,
I am using ISTA-P with the Launcher. All works OK. Recently, I wanted to upgrade a car spec using official BMW software package for that car. BMW sent me activation code/files which I downloaded onto USB stick. This code is necessary to proceed with the updating process. But my ISTA-p is not recognizing the USB stick with the code file. Windows 10 can see the USB device OK. I remember, some time ago I could do it with my old ISTA-P version. Now, I can’t . Any ideas, please. Is there any configuration or settings within ISTA to make this function available? I am hoping, that some ISTA experts here will have help me out .

Try it with the USB drive formatted to FAT32 and if possible 4 Gig max capacity

It is for "power/performance pack" provided by BMW and downloaded from their server

What is the name of your drive ? Name it something like 32GBUSB no Special characters No spaces

What is The FULL Name of file On the drive ? is it a .xml file extension??

The only way to Import a vehicle order File Is to name it your 7 digit Vin number Followed by .xml
at least as of ISTA-P 3.66.0.200 ..

Are you using virtual machine? If so Make sure you add that device To the virtual machine !

From the picture Right click in the blank white spot , Click properties , does it say Fat 32 file system?.....
If not, if it shows NTFS, Create a new folder on your desktop , From the picture, Select all, Copy , Paste all files to the new folder on your desktop you just created. 

Then right click Removable Disk F: , Click format , Changing NTFS to Fat 32,   Check box quick format , ok...
Then Copy the files back To the drive formatted in Fat 32...

your usb has no mame, from The picture, Right click Removable Disk (F)  , Click rename , And rename it D164954 

And try again

It sounds like version issue. Is your Ista/p updated?
