Hi dear friends. At first sorry for my english. I have a little problem, we finish project swap e30 engine from 1.6 to 2.8 m52 but my oryginal dme with ews is distroyed by water. I have dme from e39 323 ms41 but there is ews whitch i need to delete. Can anybody help me to immo off in .bin file and mayby change maps to m52b28 single vanos engine.
Second question for future, how to change maps to get popcorn effect?

You should start with a base ecu firmware for M52b28, not try to convert a B25 file for your engine. "Patching" up the flash to 2.8 will not be a good foundation to start on. There are too many variables to change.

I will try .bin file from yudon, now i want to have somethink to try start the engine. If this will work, then i will be transform it to b28.
If the engine start can I try to change software with diagnostic cable and winkfp??

Can you tell me if oe car had automatic transmission, and now in e30 will be manual is there any differences in firmware??

The firmware and flash calibration is the same for both.

Auto/manual gearbox setting is stored in adaptations section of the ecu (not in calibration section!). There is a byte switch that the ecu controls automatically.


Extra info:
The only way you can get the ecu to switch between auto and manual is to sync ews to a known auto or manual car and clear adaptation. The ecu will take the new gearbox setting from the ews module it is synced to.

Alternate way is to write adaptation from another ecu, but ONLY possible with desolder and chip write in programmer.
