Road Map update retrofitted evo ID5 Bmw F30
Hi Guys,
I'm new to this forum so i'm a rookie with programming, i want to upgrade my retrofitted NBT evo ID5 with a new map. Currently the head unit has 2017-4 map and apple carplay. But i get stuck on the FSC File.. Step 1 Bought a E-net cable. Step 2 Downloaded the EVO_EUROPE_2019 map Step 3 Copy the content of the EVO_EUROPE_2019 to a formatted (Fat32) USB drive. Step 4 Here goes things wrong, i need to have a right FSC file. Is it possible to download this form the HU. with the E-net cable.. Can somebody help me? I'm a senior engineer in IT but new into BMW programming.. Thanks in advance!!! |

I just had a similar question and nice user here helped with infos, check this thread: https://cartechnology.co.uk/showthread.php?tid=47822 Yes, you have to extract your FSC file from your HU. Use Esys ->Expert mode ->FSC extended ->GetFSC. Then you have to proceed as described in my above mentioned thread. |

it works only if the VIN had free upgrade up to version 1-2019.

set fsc custom, is new set fsc for your nbt evo,.. same vin,. but all fsc included, and map life time.

My Enet cable just arrived today. I've connected my car to Esys to get the GetFSC. But to read out the data i need some parameters. What do i need to fill in for a NBT EVO ID5 thanks!! |

You need the application number and its upgrade index. Go to FSC comfort and read FSC status, then you will have all these details.
