Hello,

I want to swap the cluster of an Audi A6 C7 with an used s7 cluster. If I am right i have to do these steps:

• remove component protection of new cluster
  
• read security pins from old and new cluster
  
• set new cluster to 0km
  
• adapt cluster
  
• set cluster to old mileage
  

I have the following tools:

• UPA-USB
  
• VCDS 18.2.1
  
• KESS v2 2.47
  
• vas5054 / odis online
  

So component protection and adaptation of the virginized will be no problem. But how can I get the security pin from the cluster and change the mileage. Is there a software which can read the pin from an ECU dump or cluster eeprom dump? Or can I use different software with my interfaces to read the pins by obd2?

Okay, I just swapped the cluster and removed the component protection. When removing the component protection it reads the key at the sensor at the dashboard and copies (I think) the immo codes. Then the cluster works. Afterwards I just adjusted the coding by VCDS and everything works fine.

The only problem is that I have the mileage from the new cluster and cannot adjust it because it is over 100km. Which tools do I need to adjust the mileage?
