EVO retrofit info LCI F10 GPS issues
I ran out of ideas, I`m fighting with this retrofit for days, I`m stuck, any input from you guys?
Long story short, car is 2014 F10 LCI (gateway & cas, no BDC) came with NBT id4 from factory, I retrofitted EVO hw3.2 and ATM module, moved the 4 pins to the OBAR, flash it with 18-3 then to latest and now back to 18-3. VIN changed to match the car on EVO & ATM and activated with FSC (all accepted and good), BUT GPS shows reserved, also I noticed the kafas is reading in & out the speed limit (so issue here also), not sure if might be related to EVO not getting a GPS signal. I did drove the car quite a lot and no luck with the GPS. I installed the ATM into my f15 to rule it out defective and works like a charm. Something else that I notice is that when I`m moving the 4 pins to OBAR I cannot read the VCM with eEnet cable connected straight to my laptop, only the ECU and when reading the ECU sometimes is reading less ecu's, second press more and so on, like it`s loosing communication. If I connect the enet via a router I can read the VCM fine. |

In order for the ATM to communicate with EVO via OBAR does the EVO needs to be connected to the ethernet via the 4 pins also, I`m leaning into those 4 pins that I moved from the quadlock. If I get this correct, I should get a GPS signal from ATM with only the 3 wires connected to the OBAR, I don`t have the move the 4 pins from quadlock, correct? I default coded the EVO and I took a quick look into the setting and seems ok, ATM is selected into cafd, other settings that I need to look into it? |

For correct working atm and gps you don’t need ZGW to HU Quadlock connection. This connection you need for flashing or for tools patch the hu.
On HU check SYSTEM_GPS_RECEIVER. This must nicht_aktiv for ATM GPS If my post helped you hit the thanks and reputation button. Thank you.

Looks like I found the problem, one cable going into OBAR was bad. For future references is service menu shows GPS status: Reserved that due to a communication with ATM module.
