Hello all,

 
When you have two I-Level like below:
 
K001_22_07_506_V_004
 
K001_22_07_511_V_004
 
The only differance is the version (506 vs 511). Is it needed to install version 511, when version 506 is already installed. Or is it a kind off installation fix and nota a firmware update for the CPU?
 
 
Series network ,e.g. F020 - Year 2017 - month (3, 7, or 11) - Version (>= 500)

In my opinion there is real update. Update with "installation bugs" will never get published. There is basic testing before release. Very likely some issues from field were not fixed completely and another fast release update come with fix. If your car doesnt have real problem then its not mandatory but if you like to have your car updated, install it for sure

you must read release notes first. It will advise you if there is an execution block/measures or alternative i-level, or to update to the alternative i-level first and then to the current level.

Today I run the update with version K001_22_07_511_V_004. You are right BobbySD, it updated one CPU.
