rx and tx must be in the cross - it's not in this picture

I got uart connected to tx and rx on im6 i believe and now i see alot of running data in putty but no recovery options

if the uart works:

1. disconnect the radio from the power supply
2. insert the SD card with the update into the radio
3. insert the jumper into the unit board
4. connect the radio and press 2 on the uart (emergency update)
5. remove the jumper

do i also need to connect imx6 recovery to uart? if yes which pins goes to uart?

restore the unit or run OTG BOOT (not public)?

I want to restore the unit so i can make fresh firmware update again.

If you do what i wrote the unit will be restored. Connect the UART to trace RX and trace TX.

I already tried connect RX on UART to TX on Quadlock and TX on UART to RX on Quadlock and then i get no signal in putty? The UART is on as I can see a red light on it but no green blinking connection

So i dont know what i am doing wrong

I also tried reverse TX to TX and RX to RX and still no communication

If i connect to rx/tx imx6 on mainboard i see alot of scrolling info in putty. Im newbie and trying to learn how uart works

I replaced the uart usb with a different type and now i could read the recovery menu. The unit is now recovered with succes.
