Hello, I have 4.32.15 ISTA version and it is working perfectly, but I want to update programming data to the latest version. It is possible to only install programming data without updating ISTA?

How you updated programming data? 

I was trying by copy-pasting data_swi folder (from the newest version standalone app) and changing SWIData Registry to the newest version? 

It seems to work but im not sure if that is the correct way of doing it.

i usualy just swap sdp
i never change something in registry or things like that

On second laptop I’m doing the same : delete both folders of data and data_swi, and update with latest one!
Didn’t change anything in registry, all works fine (including full software update)

Correct, both required!
Was flashed many cars with updated date by this method, all ok!

One thing : you will not have some options which have Newest ISTA versions, and some ABL will be not available (I’m talking only about LCI or newest cars, which launched later then current ISTA version)
Many people doesn’t need it, because they not work with newest cars.

So that’s all
