Hey guys, I have an bmw 120i with n46b20 engine and mev9n46l engine ecu, that I have to change the coding for mil and Kat, do you know if i have to reset working hours in this ecu to make these coding modification?? If need it, can someone help teaching how to do it, or do it for me?? I already have the ECU read by obg with kess if it helps, and can send any info or file that's needed

No working hours on tis but for CAT coding alone will not work.

So for de cat on this ecu, its just with software tunning??? It will not accept changing in coding for not testing cat, like it's possible for cbs oil intervals, and mil light on or off???

Tune the only way. I have tried coding before and it does not work. I have even tested with No Cat zusb and still does not work.

thanks mate, i will try with tunning to decat this ecu, and for the mil light, did you tried to code it??? for making it work (in this car the mil light is off in the coding), and I have the bmw explorer, that can zero the mileage in the ECU, does this have some influence in the coding?? or is just for the mileage in ECU itself and not related to the coding??
