F25 Transfer Box calibration problem.
Hello everyone, I tried to calibrate used Transfer box Torque module . I follow ISTA service function. When starting ISTA say communication whit module is OK.
But when tried to store classification number get "communication error that connection with module is lost" I get this error message twice and after that ista say "classification number is stored successfully". Continue service function with calibration and ista complete whole procedure and say that is successful. But after starting engine again error massage's pop up. 440100 (VTG): Control unit: Complete system fault 48068C Transfer Box: Temporary fault, temperature 48097D Transfer Box: Fault, clutch position know, no four-wheel drive So what can you advice me, original module and used one are both died or something I not done right? Used ISTA 4.32 and Ista 3.47 with Enet cable. |

RE: F25 Transfer Box calibration problem.
You need to program the VTG module.

RE: F25 Transfer Box calibration problem.
I tried, but in E-sys VTG module is not visible. Read VCM or ECU, doesn't show me VTG or maybe is with different name which I dont know?
Can someone confirm VTG in Esys is LMV1? |

RE: F25 Transfer Box calibration problem.
Please post the screenshot of the modules list. I checked with ISTA the VTG is 27.

RE: F25 Transfer Box calibration problem.
Thank you boys. Is it true that I need ICOM and BMW AOS access to re flash this module? I read in another thread that this was the solution.
Thank you once again! |

RE: F25 Transfer Box calibration problem.
We tried VTG flashing, ISTA calibration via enet, icom, but without success. We then removed the transfer case and found a mechanical failure inside. So the issue is not in transfer module or software.
